Wow, I just posted something similar on my blog. Sort of a Bob at one end of the spectrum, a Dresser at the other. I thought about mentioning that one photo was probably from the East and the other the West but, left that topic alone for now.
That topic may get under the skin of some of today's East coasters but, generally it was reflected in the old publications.
It also brings to mind, white walls on choppers. That used to be a pretty good indicator of where a bike was from.
