There is so much I love about this picture. A legendary racer in Joe Leonard. Missing my Sportster a little. Bates Oil sponsor, manufactured by our friend Bob McMillen. And the cool racing silks, that became very popular in the late 50's through the early 70's. These vests were offered by many companies including, well Bates.
