This photo is what is believed to be Crater Camp, a popular motorcycle riding spot back in the 40s and 50s. This mythical place was located somewhere near Mulholland Hwy and Topanga Cyn. It was a meet and ride spot for motorcycle jockeys to get together and ride around in the dirt. Impromptu racing, hillclimbs, TT etc. As the years went on the bikes got pushed further and further out of the city.
