This may not be a new bike to some of you, but I recently came across it on the internet and liked it. Nice looking period bobbed Ariel with what looks like a Crocker tail light. I'm also fascinated by the finned timing cover. Aftermarket? Anyone know anything about these or this bike?

Mid-forties Ariel Square-Four, iron head, stock frame and forks, except for chromed covers, fenders from elsewhere, aftermarket gear case cover (stock was smooth w/"Square Four" engraved on it.) This one looks ridable- would like to hear it, might have a cam...Johnson Motors sold these...
