Aftermarket. Have seen them on Henderson's and Harley's of the same vintage. late 20's to early 30's. Truth is stranger then fiction.
Don't know anything about the bikes, but I love the picture.

There was a Henderson four at Laconia two years ago sporting those wheels - think Buzz Kanter has got some good pics and the man's contact info - made the four look tough as hell
